<p><em>SNL 1975&nbsp;</em>is continuing to add to its cast.</p>

<p>Most recently,&nbsp;<em><a href="https://deadline.com/2024/03/snl-1975-willem-dafoe-david-tebet-1235871593/" rel="" target="_blank">Deadline</a>&nbsp;</em>reported that the film, which tells the story of the night that <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/saturday-night-live" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Saturday Night Live</em></a> premiered on NBC, has tapped Willem Dafoe to star as David Tebet, who was VP Talent Relations at NBC when&nbsp;<em>SNL&nbsp;</em>launched.</p>

<p>Based on interviews with surviving cast members and behind-the-scenes players, and written by Jason Reitman and&nbsp;Gil Kenan,<em> SNL 1975</em> has cast a host of young talent to portray the seven iconic comedians -- plus the producers, writers and crew -- who went on to change television forever.</p>

<p>The official synopsis reads:</p>

<p><em>"On October 11th, 1975, a ferocious troupe of young comedians and writers changed television forever. This is the true story of what happened that night behind the scenes in the moments leading up to the first broadcast of SNL. The chaos and magic of a revolution that almost wasn't, as we countdown the minutes in real time to the infamous words, Live From New York, it's&nbsp;Saturday Night."</em></p>

Would you accept a wolverine in its place?" He then drops dead of a heart attack.</p>

Belushi struggled with drug use throughout his career and was dismissed from <em>SNL</em> -- and later brought back -- several times due to his lack of accountability. He died in 1982 from a drug overdose after being injected with a speedball at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood.</p>

She died in 1989, after a private battle with ovarian cancer.</p>

She went on to win two Emmy Awards for her starring role in the '80s sitcom<em> Kate &amp; Allie.</em></p>

Ebersol would go on to become president of NBC Sports in 1989, shepherding the network as it became a sports broadcasting powerhouse, producing multiple Olympics, Super Bowls and more.</p>

She helped him assemble the Not Ready for Primetime Players and was an <em>SNL</em> writer during the '70s and '80s. She teamed up with Radner to help her develop some of her most iconic characters, wrote the "Killer Bees" sketch and later helped Dana Carvey develop his "Church Lady" character.</p>

'SNL 1975' Adds Willem Dafoe: See Everyone Who's Been Cast

<p>The Battle Rounds have come to an end on season 25 of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/the-voice" rel="" target="_blank"><em>The Voice</em></a> -- and Team Chance saved the best for last!</p>

<p>For his team's final Battle, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chance-the-rapper" rel="" target="_blank">Chance the Rapper</a> teamed up RLETTO and Val T. Webb, giving them the daunting task of covering Whitney Houston's "Saving All My Love for You."</p>

<p>A 43-year-old former professional backup singer, Val's <a href="https://www.etonline.com/the-voice-former-backup-singer-val-t-webb-earns-an-emotional-4-chair-turn-221535" rel="" target="_blank">epic Blind Audition</a> left no question as to whether or not she had the chops to pull off the iconic ballad. However, RLETTO had some concerns about competing, due to the fact that he auditioned with more of a melodic rap style.</p>

<p>However, there was no need to worry. Both singers brought the house down with their powerful performance, which left jaws on the ground as Chance's fellow coaches --&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/reba-mcentire" rel="" target="_blank">Reba McEntire</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/john-legend" rel="" target="_blank">John Legend</a>&nbsp;and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/dan-shay" rel="" target="_blank">Dan + Shay</a>&nbsp;-- and the <em>Voice</em> audience gave them a standing ovation.</p>

<p>"RLETTO, you're a star, man," Dan praised, with Shay agreeing, "You have that signature tone. You know exactly who you are."</p>

<p>However, Reba pointed out that Val earned a 4-chair turn in the Blinds, saying this performance was further proof that she'd earned it. John agreed, adding, "Your voice is pure and beautiful. You have such wonderful control over it."</p>

<p>While Chance received little help from his fellow coaches in picking the winner, everyone reiterated that both were undeniable performers, RLETTO being the less conventional choice --&nbsp;"You really showed out, and I hope that you could feel that," his coach raved to the 27-year-old Florida native.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, there was no questioning Val, either, whom Chance praised as a "generational talent."</p>

<p>Ultimately, Chance went with the slightly less traditional route, choosing RLETTO as the winner of the Battle.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, John didn't waste much time, letting Val say her piece to Chance before hitting his "Steal" button and bringing her to Team Legend!</p>

<p>"As soon as Chance said, 'RLETTO,' I was like, 'Well, Val's coming to Team Legend!" he told the cameras. "Her voice is smooth, she has gorgeous range, gorgeous tone. Val can <em>sang</em>!"</p>

<p>Season 25 marks the first season of <em>The Voice</em> without O.G. coach <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/blake-shelton" rel="" target="_blank">Blake Shelton</a>, and when <a href="https://www.etonline.com/john-legend-on-whether-blake-shelton-will-ever-return-to-the-voice-exclusive-221844" rel="" target="_blank">ET spoke with John</a> -- now the most-tenured coach on the show -- ahead of the Battle Rounds, he admitted that he doesn't think there's a good chance that Blake will ever return to the show.</p>

<p>"I feel like Gwen is the only chance we have," John shared with a laugh. "[Blake] is staying on the farm, he's enjoying himself. I've talked to him and he's, like, picking corn... I don't think he has any desire to come back to Hollywood and film&nbsp;<em>The Voice.</em>"</p>

<p>However, that doesn't mean that the competition on season 25 is any less daunting, John insisted.</p>

<p>"[Reba's] obviously very seasoned in her career, she's done everything from television to many, many, many, many, many hit songs over her career and performing on every stage you can imagine," he praised. "She just brings such a wealth of experience and expertise to our show. We're so lucky to have her."</p>

<p>As for Dan + Shay, John said the duo has the "new coach fire," adding, "They're trying to win. We definitely battled back and forth when it came to the blind auditions and yeah, they've got the fire. They want to win."</p>

<p><em>The Voice</em> airs Mondays at 8 p.m. PT/ET and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. PT/ET on NBC, and streams next day on Peacock.</p>

<p>Hollywood Week is here on season 22 of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/american-idol" rel="" target="_blank"><em>American Idol </em></a>-- and the judges couldn't be more excited!</p>

<p>"We're reluctant to keep saying it gets better and better every year because it sounds like [a&nbsp;cliché]&nbsp;and we're just trying to falsely pump up the show. But I mean, we're not. There's a lot of great talent to choose from," <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/luke-bryan" rel="" target="_blank">Luke Bryan</a> raved.</p>

<p>The country singer and fellow judges&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/katy-perry" rel="" target="_blank">Katy Perry </a>and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/lionel-richie" rel="" target="_blank">Lionel Richie</a>, as well as host <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/ryan-seacrest" rel="" target="_blank">Ryan Seacrest</a>, sat down with ET's Denny Directo ahead of the Hollywood shows, and Perry admitted that she thinks the high quality talent pool this year is due to the judges being harder on the contestants than they have in past seasons.</p>

<p>"We were hard out there on the road," she recalled. "Our show producers said that we were harder than we've ever been... and that means that the show is better than it's ever been."</p>

<p>"It's the natural standard that we have," Perry added of putting pressure on the contestants. "There's only a few months between when we wrap the show and start again... So we really have a fresh memory in our heads of what the Top 10 looks like. So maybe with that in mind we're like, '[They] have to be Top 10 because we know what that looks like.'"</p>

<p>The judges even admit that they get tougher as the auditions progress -- so extra apologies to Nashville, which was their last stop on the audition tour.</p>

<p>"It gets tricky, because at that point, some kids that we would do a dice roll on early, [we won't towards the end]," Bryan shared. "We don't want to send them out here, put them through all this, knowing that they're really [on the edge]."</p>

<p>"Talent meets preparation meets luck -- those are the three things," Perry agreed. "Some of these contestants in the beginning, they get the luck part because we were like, 'Oh, we let that person in, but maybe we wouldn't have done it [later]."</p>

<p>This season also featured the return of the "platinum ticket," which allowed a singer to advance to the second week in Hollywood, as well as pick their duet partner.</p>

<p>"We did three platinum ticket holders," Bryan shared. "I think, historically, our platinum ticket holders haven't gone the distance, but I feel like this year we've got a real good shot for one of them to get very, very high."</p>

<p>And the judges also said there's plenty more talent beyond those three that could vie to become the newest American Idol.</p>

<p>"I feel like last year, there were two on our minds the whole time, but this year I actually think there's like 10," Perry marveled.</p>

<p>"There's a lot," Richie agreed. "We're not exaggerating."</p>

<p>That makes saying goodbye all the more difficult, however, and the judges admit that this season, Hollywood Week has some heartbreaking moments.</p>

<p>"It gets really emotional for us," Richie admitted. "We get to Hollywood, we realize, 'Oh my god, this one, this one, this one are out of their league.... But as it gets involved, we find ourselves now growing emotional, trying to figure out, how do we let them go?"</p>

<p>Ultimately, the show gives the judges a chance to jumpstart the careers of singers who want to follow in their footsteps -- which is the rewarding side of the reality competition.</p>

<p>"We've got one kid from Ocala, Florida... He's so new and young and just an aw shucks, good old boy," Bryan reflected. "Anytime I see a kid like that, it really makes me think of how I would have auditioned when I was 18 or 19."</p>

'American Idol' Judges on 'Emotional' Hollywood Week and Being Tougher on Contestants (Exclusive)

<p>An attorney for Sean "<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/diddy" rel="" target="_blank">Diddy</a>" Combs issued a statement on the rapper's behalf on Tuesday, following <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sean-diddy-combs-homes-in-los-angeles-and-miami-raided-by-homeland-security-222326" rel="" target="_blank">Homeland Security raids</a> on Diddy's Los Angeles and Miami homes on Monday.</p>

<p>Aaron Dyer tells ET,&nbsp;"Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs' residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities."</p>

<p>"Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way," Dyer's statement continues. "This unprecedented ambush -- paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence -- leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name."</p>

<p>Helicopter footage captured the raid of the Beverly Hills home owned by Diddy -- who has faced&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/diddy-breaks-his-silence-after-4th-lawsuit-alleges-he-was-involved-in-gang-rape-of-a-17-year-old" rel="" target="_blank">numerous allegations of sexual misconduct</a>&nbsp;in recent months -- and two of his sons, Justin and Christian "King" Combs, were seen being placed in handcuffs.</p>

<p>In a statement to ET, Homeland Security Investigations shared on Monday,&nbsp;"Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.</p>

<p>One of the crimes under the purview of Homeland Security is sex trafficking, which Diddy was accused of by ex-girlfriend&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/cassie" rel="" target="_blank">Cassie</a>&nbsp;in her November 2023&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/inside-cassies-lawsuit-against-diddy-alleged-rape-beatings-drug-use-sex-workers-and-a-car-explosion" rel="" target="_blank">lawsuit against the rapper</a>, which also included Cassie's claim that Diddy raped her in 2018, near the end of their relationship.</p>

<p>According to legal documents obtained by ET, Cassie claimed Diddy began&nbsp;a pattern of control and abuse within a few years of signing her to his Bad Boy records label.&nbsp;She claimed Diddy's control over her included him introducing her "to a lifestyle of excessive alcohol and substance abuse and required her to procure illicit prescriptions to satisfy his own addictions." Among the numerous allegations made in the 35-page lawsuit in Manhattan Federal Court were claims that Diddy would often punch, beat, kick and stomp on her, resulting in bruises, burst lips, black eyes and bleeding.</p>

<p>The R&amp;B singer "was held down by Mr. Combs and endured over a decade of his violent behavior and disturbed the demands," the court documents state, in which she also claims she was "trapped" by his "cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking."</p>

<p>Cassie also claimed in the lawsuit that Diddy would force her to engage in sex acts with male sex workers while masturbating and filming the encounters, which the singer said Diddy referred to as a "freak off," or "FO." She further claimed Diddy "would repeatedly tell [her] at random moments that he wanted an FO, and [she] was eventually expected to facilitate the location and the hiring of male sex workers."</p>

<p>The lawsuit between the exes&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/cassie-and-sean-diddy-combs-reach-settlement-in-her-rape-lawsuit-against-him-215179" rel="" target="_blank">was settled quickly and "amicably,"</a>&nbsp;Diddy said in a statement to ET at the time, adding&nbsp;"I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love."</p>

<p>"Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing," Diddy's attorney, Ben Brafman, added in a statement to ET. "Mr. Combs' decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best."</p>

<p>Despite their settlement, however, Diddy faced three new lawsuits before the end of the year, in which he was accused of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/sean-diddy-combs-accused-of-sexual-assault-and-revenge-porn-in-two-new-lawsuits-215486" rel="" target="_blank">sexual assault, revenge porn</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/diddy-breaks-his-silence-after-4th-lawsuit-alleges-he-was-involved-in-gang-rape-of-a-17-year-old" rel="" target="_blank">being involved in the "gang rape"</a>&nbsp;of a 17-year-old girl.</p>

<p>"Enough is enough," Combs&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C0hUOaoOoQq/" rel="" target="_blank">wrote on Instagram</a>&nbsp;after the most recent allegations emerged. "For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy."</p>

<p>"Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday," he continued. "Let me absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth."</p>

<p>On Monday, Douglas Wigdor, who represents Cassie and one of the Jane Does in the later lawsuits said in a statement in response to the Homeland Security raids, "We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct."</p>

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Lawyer Speaks Out on Homeland Security Raids: 'Nothing More Than a Witch Hunt'

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/diddy" rel="" target="_blank">Sean "Diddy" Combs</a> was reportedly spotted at an airport in Miami on Monday after federal law enforcement raided two of his homes in Los Angeles and Miami, according to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/25/diddy-seen-first-time-video-pacing-miami-airport-federal-raid-home/" rel="" target="_blank">multiple</a>&nbsp;<a href="https://people.com/sean-diddy-combs-spotted-at-miami-airport-following-raids-8620285" rel="" target="_blank">reports</a>.</p>

<p>Combs, 54, was photographed pacing around the&nbsp;Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport at approximately 3 p.m., with his cell phone in his hand after the simultaneous raids were conducted, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/25/diddy-seen-first-time-video-pacing-miami-airport-federal-raid-home/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>TMZ</em></a> reports.</p>

<p>In a video obtained by <em>TMZ</em>, Combs can be seen walking around freely outside the customs office at the airport, reportedly hours after the raids were initiated.</p>

<p>His presence at the airport comes amid <a href="https://people.com/sean-diddy-combs-spotted-at-miami-airport-following-raids-8620285" rel="" target="_blank">additional reports</a><a href="https://people.com/sean-diddy-combs-private-jet-reportedly-in-caribbean-amid-homes-raids-8620274" rel="" target="_blank">&nbsp;by <em>People</em></a>&nbsp;that a private jet owned by Combs flew to the Caribbean island of Antigua on Monday morning, as the raids were conducted.</p>

<p>Two of Combs' homes -- one in Beverly Hills and one in Miami -- were raided by Homeland Security on Monday, as part of an "ongoing investigation," and amid sex trafficking allegations leveled against the music mogul by multiple women.</p>

<p>Additionally, a source <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/sean-combs-homes-raided-sex-trafficking-investigation-1234990642/" rel="" target="_blank">told </a><em><a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/sean-combs-homes-raided-sex-trafficking-investigation-1234990642/" rel="" target="_blank">Rolling Stone</a>,</em> in an article published on Monday,&nbsp;that four Jane Does and one John Doe had already sat for interviews with Southern District of New York investigators for an investigation related to an alleged sex trafficking and RICO case, and additional interviews have reportedly been scheduled.</p>

<p>In a statement to ET, Homeland Security Investigations shared,&nbsp;"Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.</p>

<p>The royal family lost its matriarch when&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/queen-elizabeth">Queen Elizabeth II</a>&nbsp;died on Sept. 8, 2022, however, the branches of the Windsor family tree have grown quickly in recent years, even as the family has faced several <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middletons-photoshop-controversy-and-conspiracy-theories-royal-expert-weighs-in-exclusive" rel="" target="_blank">scandals</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/cancer-in-the-royal-family-kate-middleton-king-charles-and-sarah-ferguson-announce-diagnoses-in" rel="" target="_blank">heath scares</a>.</p>

<p>The House of Windsor is now headed, of course, by <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/king-charles-iii" rel="" target="_blank">King Charles III</a>, who succeeded his mother when he was crowned in May 2023. Queen Elizabeth was&nbsp;Britain's longest-reigning monarch, as well as the world's&nbsp;longest-reigning queen regnant&nbsp;and female&nbsp;head of state, leaving big shoes to fill.</p>

<p>Elizabeth married&nbsp;Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark in 1947, whereupon he relinquished his Greek and Danish titles to become Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, adopting the surname&nbsp;Mountbatten&nbsp;from his maternal grandparents. They reigned together until Philip's death in April 2021 and had four children together -- Charles' siblings and their children and grandchildren all stand in line to the British throne.</p>

<p>Now, the line of succession is led by <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/prince-william">Prince William</a>, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kate-middleton" rel="" target="_blank">Kate Middleton</a> and their three children, who took over the Wales title when Charles ascended the throne. If and when William succeeds his father, Kate will be the first true Queen of England since Queen Elizabeth II -- as Charles' wife, Camilla, technically is titled Queen Consort.</p>

The Royal Family Tree: All About Kate Middleton and Prince William's Kids and the New Generations

<p>Congratulations are in order for <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/ashley-tisdale" rel="" target="_blank">Ashley Tisdale</a>, who announced on Tuesday that she's pregnant with baby no. 2!</p>

<p>The <em>High School Musical </em>star and her husband, Christopher French, both posted sweet photos on Instagram to share the happy news, posing alongside their daughter Jupiter, who just turned 3 years old on March 23.</p>

<p>"We can’t wait to meet you," Tisdale captioned her photo collage, which also included a bump photo.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Beyond grateful," French shared alongside his own set of photos. "Thank you my beautiful love @ashleytisdale for another baby French."</p>

<p>Tisdale sweetly commented on her hubby's post, writing, "I love you!!! Juju is just too cute we had to have another!!"</p>

<p>Tisdale <a href="https://www.etonline.com/ashley-tisdale-talks-mom-life-and-why-she-would-never-play-sharpay-evans-again-exclusive-170237" rel="" target="_blank">opened up to ET</a> about mom life shortly after welcoming Jupiter back in 2021, gushing that her baby girl was "amazing."</p>

<p>"When she's sleeping, I look at pictures of her," she admitted with a laugh. "I will look at Chris and be like, 'We have a baby!'"</p>

<p>"I'm starting to, obviously, more physically get back to my old self," Tisdale explained. "So I think when you're going through that, you're like, I just had a baby, but now I'm starting to kind of look back into my old self and you're just like, 'Oh, but then I have this...' She's getting bigger, and I'm like, 'I can't believe she fit in me at one point.' It's just so wild."</p>

<p>While Tisdale and former co-star <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/vanessa-hudgens" rel="" target="_blank">Vanessa Hudgens</a> are <a href="https://www.etonline.com/vanessa-hudgens-is-pregnant-debuts-baby-bump-at-2024-oscars-219785" rel="" target="_blank">expecting at the same time</a>, whether they'll be swapping pregnancy tips remains to be seen.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tisdale made an appearance on <em>Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen </em>earlier this month, where she was <a href="https://www.etonline.com/ashley-tisdale-responds-to-vanessa-hudgens-feud-rumors-i-havent-seen-her-in-a-long-time-221053" rel="" target="_blank">asked about rumors of a feud</a> between her and Hudgens.</p>

<p>Host Cohen asked Tisdale, "We got this a lot. Basically, people want to know what's going on with you and Vanessa. Do you guys hang out?"&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tisdale didn't directly confirm or deny a rift with her longtime pal, but she did share, "I haven't seen her in a long&nbsp;time.&nbsp;I think, obviously, she's&nbsp;working.&nbsp;I'm working.&nbsp;I have a daughter.&nbsp;So she has a full-time job."</p>

Ashley Tisdale Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 2 With Christopher French

<p>Monday's episode of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/the-voice" rel="" target="_blank"><em>The Voice</em></a> featured a franchise first!</p>

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/dan-shay" rel="" target="_blank">Dan + Shay</a> teamed up Kyle Schuesler and Madison Curbelo for their latest Battle Round performance and gave them something of a tall task -- especially for Kyle. The coaches selected Jason Mraz's "Lucky" but chose the bilingual version that the singer released with&nbsp;Ximena Sariñana, titled "Suerte (Lucky)."</p>

<p>While Madison is Puerto Rican, and auditioned with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/the-voice-madison-curbelos-bilingual-stand-by-me-performance-earns-a-4-chair-turn-220915" rel="" target="_blank">a bilingual rendition of "Stand by Me,"</a> Kyle had never sung in Spanish before taking the stage for his Battle performance. And he totally delivered.</p>

<p>The duo got a standing ovation from the rest of the season 25 coaches --&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/reba-mcentire" rel="" target="_blank">Reba McEntire</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/john-legend" rel="" target="_blank">John Legend</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chance-the-rapper" rel="" target="_blank">Chance the Rapper</a>&nbsp;-- as well as their own.</p>

<p>"You two gave us a beautiful, beautiful performance," John raved. "Madison, you were brilliant, and Kyle, I don't know if you've sung in Spanish before..."</p>

<p>"I haven't," the 19-year-old Huntingdon Beach native admitted, to which Reba balked: "What?!"</p>

<p>"I believed you!" John praised.</p>

<p>All the coaches praised both performances, but it was Chance who called Dan + Shay's shot for them.</p>

<p>"I'ma be super honest. Both of you guys could win the entire competition and neither of you guys should leave," he explained. "I think that John is gonna try and steal Kyle. So if I was Dna + Shay, I would use my Playoff Pass right now."</p>

<p>"Stay out of this, Chance!" John fired back. "Enough of you! Enough!"</p>

<p>Ultimately, however -- much to John's chagrin -- that's exactly what happened. Dan + Shay selected Kyle as the winner of the Battle, sending him on to the Knockout Rounds. When John attempted to steal Madison, the duo activated their Playoff Pass, which allows her to skip the Knockouts altogether and head straight to the Playoffs.</p>

<p>"This was the most cohesive performance so far," Dan praised. "I felt the energy. I felt the magic... When we left rehearsals the other day, Shay and I were like, 'They both deserve to win this show.'"</p>

<p>"For Kyle to step up like that, to learn Spanish for this performance, it just shows how badly he wants it," Shay agreed. "Madison, just blew us away. [She's] just a star."</p>

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/the-voice-season-25-coaches-welcome-dan-shay-and-react-to-the-new-double-chair-exclusive-220224" rel="" target="_blank">ET spoke with the season 25 coaches</a>&nbsp;ahead of the premiere, where they shared what it's been like to welcome&nbsp;<em>The Voice</em>'s&nbsp;first-ever coaching duo to the competition.</p>

<p>"They give great notes. They're really good," Reba praised. "They're knowledgeable about the business but they also have a lot of heart and that's what they're going for."</p>

<p>Dan + Shay say they've been fans of the show for years -- they served as mentors for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/blake-shelton" rel="" target="_blank">Blake Shelton's</a>&nbsp;team back in season 20 and even stepped in to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/dan-shay-replace-niall-horan-during-the-voice-knockout-rehearsals-214419" rel="" target="_blank">guest coach Niall Horan's team</a>&nbsp;last season -- but getting to serve as full-time coaches for the first time has been a whole new experience.</p>

<p>"It's changed everything for us," Shay admitted. "I just really enjoy the process of getting to work with these artists, and you really, you get attached. It becomes heartbreaking when you have to let people go. But it's been an amazing experience."</p>

<p>Chance the Rapper makes his return this season for the first time since his season 23&nbsp;<em>Voice</em>&nbsp;debut, where he joined Blake, Niall and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kelly-clarkson" rel="" target="_blank">Kelly Clarkson</a>. He told ET that it's especially exciting to be back&nbsp;with a whole new roster of coaching talent.</p>

<p>"I've always just admired John and he's helped me in so many different ways," he reflected. "To be working with him and then to be around Reba, and Dan + Shay, and with this amazing crew... I do miss Blake, but it's just cool to be back in the building."</p>

<p>Despite the good vibes, however, the coaches are still plenty competitive. With Niall stepping away this season after winning back-to-back titles, the&nbsp;<em>Voice</em>&nbsp;trophy is up for grabs -- and there's a better-than-average chance it could go to a first-time champion, as only John has won the competition before.</p>

<p>"It's getting heated out there for sure," Shay revealed.</p>

<p>"That's why we're here," Reba agreed.</p>

<p><em>The Voice&nbsp;</em>airs Mondays at 8 p.m. PT/ET and and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. PT/ET on NBC, and streaming the next day on Peacock.</p>

'The Voice': Kyle Schuesler Wows the Coaches by Singing in Spanish for the First Time Ever

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/reba-mcentire" rel="" target="_blank">Reba McEntire</a> had an emotional moment during an unexpected song during Monday's Battle Rounds on <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/the-voice" rel="" target="_blank"><em>The Voice</em></a>.</p>

<p>The country legend teamed up two of her team's "good ol' boys,"&nbsp;Josh Sanders and Donny Van Slee, for a performance of Luke Combs' "When It Rains, It Pours." While the song is mostly an upbeat, fun country vibe, Josh admitted to his coach that he was getting a different message from some of the lyrics.</p>

<p>"'When it rains, it pours,' that lyric hits me kinda heavy," he shared. "I'm a dad of four girls. We had a son. He was born and passed away on my birthday."</p>

<p>"It's such a fun song, and I don't wanna take it there," he added, as Donny and Reba emotionally supported him.</p>

<p>Growing choked up as she spoke, Reba shared, "Before I go onstage, I ask the Holy Spirit to walk for me, talk for me, speak for me, sing for me... Ask him for that: 'Put me in the right place for this song.'"</p>

<p>Josh certainly wasn't dragged down with emotion when it came to his performance onstage. His impressive vocals and jaw-dropping runs had Reba's fellow coaches --&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/dan-shay" rel="" target="_blank">Dan + Shay</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/john-legend" rel="" target="_blank">John Legend</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chance-the-rapper" rel="" target="_blank">Chance the Rapper</a>&nbsp;-- applauding the Battle performance.&nbsp;</p>

<p>And the Queen of Country herself couldn't help but get choked up once again as she praised the singers, calling Donny's performance&nbsp;"cute as a button."</p>

<p>"It was fun, I enjoyed watching you," she added.</p>

<p>However, between Josh's emotional pull and impressive vocals, Reba had to name him the winner of the Battle, sending him on to the Knockout Rounds.</p>

<p>"Your runs, when you hit the high notes, everything was perfect," she marveled. "Whatever you got from this song, it was just right."</p>

<p>"I feel like I've known you forever," she added to both singers, pausing to collect herself. "I just felt like we bonded, and that was really, really special to me."</p>

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/the-voice-season-25-coaches-welcome-dan-shay-and-react-to-the-new-double-chair-exclusive-220224" rel="" target="_blank">ET spoke with the season 25 coaches</a>&nbsp;ahead of the premiere, where they shared what it's been like to welcome&nbsp;<em>The Voice</em>'s&nbsp;first-ever coaching duo to the competition.</p>

<p>"They give great notes. They're really good," Reba praised. "They're knowledgeable about the business but they also have a lot of heart and that's what they're going for."</p>

<p>Dan + Shay say they've been fans of the show for years -- they served as mentors for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/blake-shelton" rel="" target="_blank">Blake Shelton's</a>&nbsp;team back in season 20 and even stepped in to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/dan-shay-replace-niall-horan-during-the-voice-knockout-rehearsals-214419" rel="" target="_blank">guest coach Niall Horan's team</a>&nbsp;last season -- but getting to serve as full-time coaches for the first time has been a whole new experience.</p>

<p>"It's changed everything for us," Shay admitted. "I just really enjoy the process of getting to work with these artists, and you really, you get attached. It becomes heartbreaking when you have to let people go. But it's been an amazing experience."</p>
