<p>Rodney Jones Jr., the music producer also known as Lil Rod, has amended his February lawsuit against&nbsp;Sean "<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/diddy" rel="" target="_blank">Diddy</a>" Combs to include actor <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/cuba-gooding-jr" rel="" target="_blank">Cuba Gooding Jr.</a> on the list of defendants.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last month, Jones filed&nbsp;a lawsuit against Diddy,&nbsp;54, accusing the media mogul of sexually harassing and threatening him for more than a year.&nbsp;The producer claimed that he "secured irrefutable evidence" of illicit activity, including Diddy providing laced alcoholic beverages to minors and sex workers at his homes and the rapper's acquisition, use and distribution of ecstasy, cocaine, GHB, ketamine, as well as displaying and distribution of unregistered illegal firearms.</p>

<p>According to court documents obtained by ET, Jones filed the lawsuit in Federal District Court in Manhattan, claiming that he was subjected to possible drugging and rape, ritual humiliation, and being cheated out of more than $50,000 for his work on Diddy's September 2023 release, <em>The Love Album: Off the Grid</em>.</p>

<p>Jones claimed that he and Diddy worked together between September 2022 and November 2023, a partnership that resulted in nine songs on <em>The Love Album</em>,&nbsp;for which Jones is credited as a producer. Jones also alleged that he was not paid for "13 months (and) thousands of hours of work."</p>

<p>In the lawsuit, Jones also accused Gooding, 56, of sexually harassing and assaulting him on a yacht rented by Diddy in the U.S. Virgin Islands in January 2023.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Monday, the producer amended his complaint to name Gooding as an official defendant.</p>

<p>According to the lawsuit, Jones believed Diddy was "grooming him" in an attempt to "pass him off" to Gooding, introducing him to the Oscar-winning actor and leaving the two alone in a studio on Diddy's yacht.</p>

<p>"Cuba Gooding Jr. began touching, groping, and fondling Mr. Jones' legs, his upper inner thighs near his groin, the small of his back near his buttocks and his shoulders," Jones' lawsuit alleges.</p>

<p>The complaint includes a photo that supposedly shows Gooding with his arm around Jones, along with a picture that allegedly shows Diddy and Gooding talking on the yacht.</p>

<p>The lawsuit claims that Diddy "failed to step in and stop" Gooding from "sexually assaulting" Jones, who allegedly "forcibly pushed" the actor away.</p>

<p>ET has reached out to Gooding's attorney for comment.</p>

<p>As mentioned in the complaint,&nbsp;Gooding has <a href="https://www.etonline.com/cuba-gooding-jr-avoids-jail-time-after-pleading-guilty-to-lesser-charge-192595" rel="" target="_blank">faced several lawsuits</a> in recent years over <a href="https://www.etonline.com/cuba-gooding-jr-pleads-guilty-to-forcible-touching-182542" rel="" target="_blank">alleged sexual abuse, rape and forcible touching</a>&nbsp;against more than 30 women.</p>

<p>In June 2023, the <em>Jerry Maguire</em>&nbsp;star&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/cuba-gooding-jr-settles-lawsuit-over-new-york-city-rape-accusation-before-trial-court-records-say" rel="" target="_blank">settled accusations that he raped a woman</a> in a New York City hotel a decade ago, just as trial was to start with jury selection.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the lawsuit, the Jane Doe alleged that Gooding raped her in his hotel room after convincing her to stop at the room so he could change clothing. His lawyers, though, insisted that it was consensual sex and that she bragged afterward to others that she had sex with a celebrity.</p>

<p>Minutes after jurors were to begin assembling in a courtroom, a calendar entry in the official court record said: "TRIAL OFF." It added: "Reason for cancellation (on consent): the parties have resolved the matter."</p>

<p>The lawsuit sought $6 million in damages. Gloria Allred, one of several attorneys representing the woman, declined to comment to CBS News about the reported settlement. Other lawyers, including those representing Gooding, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.</p>

<p>Represented by attorney Tyrone Blackburn, Jones' lawsuit implicates other celebrities, including rapper Yung Miami, whose unnamed cousin is accused of sexual assault after she allegedly "burst into the bathroom and began groping" Jones during a gathering on Thanksgiving Day 2022.</p>

<p>Jones also claims producer Stevie J helped recruit sex workers for Diddy and participated in sex parties referred to as "freak-offs" (a term Diddy allegedly used to refer to sexual encounters with sex workers) according to the lawsuit.</p>

<p>Bishop T.D. Jakes, songwriter and music producer Donald Lawrence, the Clark Sisters, Smokie Norful, Faheem Muhammad, DeForrest Taylor, and Jose Cruz are also among the celebrities named in the filing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But not all the named celebrities have not been charged, only: Diddy, Gooding, Diddy's son, Justin Dior Combs, Universal Music Group Chief Executive Lucian Charles Grainge, former Motown Records Chief Executive Ethiopia Habtemariam, Chalice Recording Studios, the record labels, Diddy's chief of staff, Kristina "KK" Khorram, Love Records and Combs Enterprises are named as defendants.</p>

<p>The network of involvement, Jones claimed, amounts to a violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).</p>

<p>The amended civil lawsuit, filed in a New York federal district court, came hours after <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sean-diddy-combs-homes-in-los-angeles-and-miami-raided-by-homeland-security-222326" rel="" target="_blank">two of Diddy's homes were raided by Homeland Security Investigations</a>&nbsp;agents as part of an "ongoing investigation," and amid sex trafficking allegations leveled against the music mogul by multiple women.</p>

<p>In a statement to ET, Homeland Security Investigations shared,&nbsp;"Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners."</p>

<p><em><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/25/diddy-homes-raided-federal-law-enforcement-beverly-hills-miami/" rel="" target="_blank">TMZ</a></em>&nbsp;reports that law enforcement sources said the case is being handled out of the Southern District of New York, and that it appears to be tied to sex trafficking allegations. The outlet also reported that two of the handcuffed men in the helicopter footage appear to be Diddy's sons, Justin and Christian "King" Combs.</p>

<p>Additionally, a source&nbsp;<a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/sean-combs-homes-raided-sex-trafficking-investigation-1234990642/" rel="" target="_blank">told&nbsp;</a><em><a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/sean-combs-homes-raided-sex-trafficking-investigation-1234990642/" rel="" target="_blank">Rolling Stone</a>,</em>&nbsp;in an article published on Monday,&nbsp;that four Jane Does and one John Doe had already sat for interviews with Southern District of New York investigators for an investigation related to an alleged sex trafficking and RICO case, and additional interviews have reportedly been scheduled.</p>

<p>ET has reached out to Diddy's reps and attorneys for comment.</p>

<p>Diddy made headlines when he was slammed with four lawsuits last year.&nbsp;The media mogul was accused of sex trafficking by his ex-girlfriend,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/cassie" rel="" target="_blank">Cassie</a>,&nbsp;in her November 2023&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/inside-cassies-lawsuit-against-diddy-alleged-rape-beatings-drug-use-sex-workers-and-a-car-explosion" rel="" target="_blank">lawsuit against the rapper</a>, which also included Cassie's claim that Diddy raped her in 2018, near the end of their relationship.</p>

<p>The lawsuit between the exes&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/cassie-and-sean-diddy-combs-reach-settlement-in-her-rape-lawsuit-against-him-215179" rel="" target="_blank">was settled quickly and "amicably,"</a>&nbsp;Diddy said in a statement to ET at the time, adding, "I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love."</p>

<p>"Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing," Diddy's attorney, Ben Brafman, added in a statement to ET. "Mr. Combs' decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best."</p>

<p>Despite their settlement, however, Diddy faced three additional new lawsuits before the end of the year, in which he was accused of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/sean-diddy-combs-accused-of-sexual-assault-and-revenge-porn-in-two-new-lawsuits-215486" rel="" target="_blank">sexual assault, revenge porn</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/diddy-breaks-his-silence-after-4th-lawsuit-alleges-he-was-involved-in-gang-rape-of-a-17-year-old" rel="" target="_blank">being involved in the "gang rape"</a>&nbsp;of a 17-year-old girl.</p>

<p>On Monday, attorney Douglas Wigdor, who represents Cassie and one of the Jane Does in the other lawsuits, said in a statement in response to the Homeland Security raids, "We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct."</p>

<p>Hours after the raids were initiated, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sean-diddy-combs-seen-at-miami-airport-following-home-raids-report-222362" rel="" target="_blank">Diddy was reportedly spotted at an airport in Miami</a>, according to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/25/diddy-seen-first-time-video-pacing-miami-airport-federal-raid-home/" rel="" target="_blank">multiple</a>&nbsp;<a href="https://people.com/sean-diddy-combs-spotted-at-miami-airport-following-raids-8620285" rel="" target="_blank">reports</a>.</p>

<p>Diddy was photographed pacing around the&nbsp;Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport at approximately 3 p.m., with his cell phone in his hand after the simultaneous raids were conducted,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/25/diddy-seen-first-time-video-pacing-miami-airport-federal-raid-home/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>TMZ</em></a>&nbsp;reports. In a video obtained by the outlet, Combs can be seen walking around freely outside the customs office at the airport, reportedly hours after the raids were initiated.</p>

<p>His presence at the airport comes amid&nbsp;<a href="https://people.com/sean-diddy-combs-spotted-at-miami-airport-following-raids-8620285" rel="" target="_blank">additional reports</a><a href="https://people.com/sean-diddy-combs-private-jet-reportedly-in-caribbean-amid-homes-raids-8620274" rel="" target="_blank">&nbsp;by&nbsp;<em>People</em></a>&nbsp;that a private jet owned by Combs flew to the Caribbean island of Antigua on Monday morning as the raids were conducted.</p>

Producer Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones Adds Cuba Gooding Jr. to Diddy Lawsuit for Sexual Assault

<p>Krystal "Krissy" Anderson, a former cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs, died on March 20 of sepsis following the stillbirth of her daughter, Charlotte Willow Anderson, at 21 weeks. She was 40.</p>

<p>According to her&nbsp;<a href="https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/krystal-anderson-obituary?id=54700016" rel="" target="_blank">obituary</a>, the&nbsp;former cheerleader&nbsp;died "unexpectedly" on March 20, shortly after&nbsp;she delivered her stillborn daughter.&nbsp;A <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/krystal-krissy-kiki-anderson" rel="" target="_blank">GoFundMe set up in her honor</a> says Anderson's "fight with sepsis led to organ failure, and she was placed on life support." She then "underwent three surgeries, but the source of infection remained elusive."</p>

"Her radiant smile could light up the darkest room, and her sassy responses never failed to bring laughter and joy. She loved with her whole heart, leaving an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her."</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_7-0">Following the family tragedy, her husband, Clayton William Anderson, told local outlet&nbsp;<a data-component="link" data-ordinal="1" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" href="https://fox4kc.com/news/longtime-chiefs-cheerleader-dies-after-childbirth/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Fox4</a>&nbsp;that he feels "lost" after losing his wife and daughter. "There's a lot of people in this house and it feels empty," he said.</p>

<p>The Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders, whom Anderson worked with for 10 seasons at the Arrowhead Stadium, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C4zBKsAO77x/" rel="" target="_blank">paid tribute to Krystal's memory on Instagram</a>.</p>

<p>"We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of CC alum Krystal. Krissy cheered with us for over 100 games from 2006-2011 and 2013-2016. During that time, she attended the Pro Bowl as the Chiefs representative in 2015, served as a captain of her team, cheered during the London game, and visited our troops around the world, including in Iraq, Kuwait, and throughout the United States," the post's caption reads.</p>

<p>It continues, "She was loved and adored by her teammates, fans, and strangers who were never strangers for long. After her time as a cheerleader, she continued to share her love of dance and Chiefs Cheer by serving in an alumni role on gameday, practices, and at events. We will miss her kind spirit, joyful energy, and her sparkle."</p>

<p>The squad notes they'll share how they plan to "honor Krystal's legacy" later. "Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones. We will cherish every moment we had with her," the post concludes.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/krystal-anderson-obituary?id=54700016" rel="" target="_blank">her obituary</a>, Anderson worked as a yoga instructor and software engineer after&nbsp;cheering for the&nbsp;Chiefs&nbsp;from 2006-2011 and 2013-2016.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_17-0">While working as an engineer at Oracle Health, Anderson was awarded a patent for developing software that assesses the risk of postpartum hemorrhage.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_19-0">"Krystal radiated joy and laughter to everyone she encountered," the obituary reads. "She was passionate about philanthropy, working with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of KC, Gabriella's Little Library, and the First Hand Foundation. She fiercely advocated for Black women in STEM and women's health."</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/krystal-krissy-kiki-anderson" rel="" target="_blank">GoFundMe</a> aims to "help cover the medical expenses incurred during [Krystal's] fight, contribute to a meaningful memorial service, and establish a legacy fund. This fund will support causes and initiatives that were close to Krissy's heart. Let's ensure that her name lives on, not only in our memories but also in the positive actions we take in her honor. Together, we can continue the magic she brought into our lives and make a difference for others."</p>

<p>It's more than reached its goal of $25,000, having raised over $67,000 at time of publication.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_23-0">In addition to daughter Charlotte, Anderson was preceded in death by son James Charles, who also died in infancy.</p>

<p>Anderson is survived by her husband, Clayton, parents Bertha and Burnette (BJ) Johnson, brother Corey Johnson, grandmother Carrie Banks, and several other extended relatives and in-laws.</p>

Krystal Anderson, Former Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader, Dead at 40 After Stillbirth

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/christina-ricci" rel="" target="_blank">Christina Ricci</a>&nbsp;is sharing how her time&nbsp;filming&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/yellowjackets" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Yellowjackets</em></a>&nbsp;affected her relationship with her daughter,&nbsp;Cleopatra, who turned 2 in December.</p>

<p>On the latest episode of the&nbsp;<a href="https://open.spotify.com/show/7to9J2tlUqsZ7bsAO8WFp3" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Let's Be Clear With Shannen Doherty</em></a>&nbsp;podcast, the 44-year-old actress explained that in order to film the hit thriller series, she had to commute between her home and&nbsp;Vancouver, which put a strain on her time to bond with her growing child.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_5-0">"Last year I was commuting back and forth to Vancouver for&nbsp;<em>Yellowjackets</em>. She didn't know me. We had no bond. So that was very upsetting," she told host&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/shannen-doherty" rel="" target="_blank">Shannen Doherty</a>.</p>

<p>"My kids do not like it when I travel. When I'm away, I try to take my son with me as much as I can," she added, noting that taking work trips with her entire family can get pricey. "If you're a series regular, you have to pay for everything, so I can't... every time I go up and down, I can't pay for four people, four flights, you know, and the rooms that you would need and all...it's just too expensive to travel with everybody all the time."</p>

<p>The mom of two shared how she tries to "manage" having a work-life balance to the best of her abilities. "I try to get back as often as I can," she said. "I think really the thing that I learned, especially with my son, is mixing him into my work life. Why can't he come for the weekend to a convention and see what it's like?"</p>

<p>Ricci reflected on how different it was to spend time with her son, Freddie, when he was younger.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"There are certain things like my son was never sleep trained because I had to go back to work when he was 2 months old," she said. Ricci claimed that her ex-husband "wouldn't help me at all with anything" and recalled having Freddie sleep in the same bed with her "just to get enough sleep to be able to work the next day."</p>

<p>Parenting with Hampton is an entirely different experience, Ricci says. "I went and shot&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/wednesday" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Wednesday</em></a>&nbsp;in Romania when [Cleo] was 2 months old, and Mark did every single night, all night long. Like, I just slept and worked the next day, and it made such a huge difference," she recounted. "It was so much easier this time around. You know, you have to have a good, supportive partner."</p>

<p>"I've gone through periods as an adult where we were really, really broke," Ricci shared.&nbsp;"You just have that thing of, 'I don't ever want to feel this way ever again.' It's like this visceral feeling. I don't ever want to feel this helpless, because I think that's what not having a lot of money makes you feel like. You feel very helpless."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-ricci-addresses-her-future-in-netflixs-wednesday-series-exclusive-201444" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Wednesday</em>&nbsp;actress</a> noted, "There's a ton of that pressure and it's hard. You have to work to support your family, but at the same time, you working takes away time from your family. So yeah, it's difficult but I'm in a really good place now. Again, I have a really supportive husband."</p>

<p>Ricci also spoke to how she became insecure about her looks while doing press for&nbsp;<em>Yellowjackets</em>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"When I started doing press for<em>&nbsp;Yellowjackets&nbsp;</em>and having to post on social media images of myself, just even as somebody over 40, I had a really hard time," she admitted. "I had a really hard time seeing these images. I had a really hard time reposting them. I really couldn't reconcile caring about what I looked like so much. ...It was so hard for me."</p>

<p>Ricci added, "But we have to find ways to navigate it where it doesn't emotionally drag us down."</p>

Christina Ricci Says She Had 'No Bond' With Daughter Cleo While Filming 'Yellowjackets'

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/eva-mendes" rel="" target="_blank">Eva Mendes</a>&nbsp;has no regrets about putting a pause on her acting career for a much bigger role -- motherhood. During an appearance on the <em>Today</em> show, the&nbsp;actress, 50, opened up about her decision to focus on raising her children while her partner,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/ryan-gosling" rel="" target="_blank">Ryan Gosling</a>, continued his acting career.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It was like a no-brainer. [And I was like], I'm so lucky if I could have this time with my children," Mendes says of becoming a full-time mother. She and Gosling have&nbsp;two daughters, Esmeralda Amada Gosling, 9, and Amada Lee Gosling, 7.</p>

<p>Mendes notes that she still works but prefers not to act because "acting takes you on location. It takes you away."</p>

<p>"It was almost just like a non-verbal agreement that it was like, 'OK, he's going to work and I'm going to work. I'm just going to work here,'" she adds.&nbsp;"He went and he did his job. He just happens to be really good at his job. And he did it and he came home."</p>

Eva Mendes Explains Why She Stopped Acting to Raise Family With Ryan Gosling

<p>On Tuesday, Sony Pictures released the trailer&nbsp;showing Smith, 55, and Lawrence, 58, reuniting nearly 30 years after the first&nbsp;<em>Bad Boys</em>&nbsp;premiered in 1995. "We back in this thang!!" Smith captioned <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C4-n5WnrFkC/" rel="" target="_blank">an Instagram post showing the trailer</a>.</p>

<p><em>Bad Boys: Ride or Die&nbsp;</em>follows the tried-and-true formula kicked off in its first film:&nbsp;Mike Lowrey&nbsp;(Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) pull all kinds of hijinks as hardboiled detectives working for the Miami Police Department. The trailer starts with Lowrey and Burnett turning the tables on a Quickie Mart hold-up. But then comes the twist -- Miami's finest are now on the run.</p>

<p>After their boss, Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano), is framed as a longtime drug smuggler, it's up to Lowrey and Burnett to save everyone's lives and reputations.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Of course, what's an action film without&nbsp;the highway chases, helicopter crashes and undercover missions gone wrong? As a faithful sequel in the long-standing franchise, the&nbsp;<em>Ride or Die</em>&nbsp;trailer promises all that and more.</p>

<p>"I mean, it's just like such a classic beloved story and it's really neat being able to go on this journey with them and have so much time go by," the 35-year-old mom-to-be said of the upcoming film. "We really leaned into the fact that they are a bit older and things changing and they're not necessarily operating at the speed they once knew."</p>

<p>"It's fun to be around, and I think there's like a lot of belly laughs and [it's] action-packed," the actress added. "It's going to be a great movie."&nbsp;</p>

'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' First Trailer: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Team Up Again to Clear Their Boss' Name

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/olivia-colman" rel="" target="_blank">Olivia Colman</a>&nbsp;is getting candid about the long-protested&nbsp;gender pay disparity in Hollywood. During a recent appearance on&nbsp;<a data-component="link" data-ordinal="1" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C44SPXiCw6o/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" rel="noopener" target="_blank">CNN's&nbsp;<em>The Amanpour Hour</em></a>&nbsp;where she was discussing her&nbsp;latest film,&nbsp;<em>Wicked Little Letters</em>, the actress and producer opened up about the wage disparity that still effects the industry -- even for an Oscar-winner such as herself.</p>

<p>"Don't get me started on the pay disparity, but male actors get paid more because they used to say they drew in the audiences," <em>The Crown</em> star told host Christiane Amanpour. "And actually, that hasn't been true for decades, but they still like to use that as a reason to not pay women as much as their male counterparts."</p>

<p>When&nbsp;Amanpour asked if the Emmy winner has experienced pay disparity firsthand despite being an award-winning actress, Colman bluntly declared that her accolades -- which include an Oscar, two Emmys, and four BAFTAs -- do not make her the exception.</p>

<p>"I'm very aware that if I was Oliver Colman, I'd be earning a f**k of a lot more than I am," she said in response. "I know of one pay disparity, which is a 12,000 percent difference. Do the maths, I know."</p>

In December 2023,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/taraji-p-henson" rel="" target="_blank">Taraji P. Henson</a>&nbsp;made headlines when she addressed the <a href="https://www.etonline.com/taraji-p-henson-gets-emotional-discussing-unfair-pay-and-treatment-in-hollywood-says-she-may-quit" rel="" target="_blank">harsh reality of Hollywood's significant pay inequality for Black creatives</a>.</p>

<p>In a conversation with&nbsp;<a data-component="link" data-ordinal="1" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="internalLink" href="https://people.com/tag/gayle-king/">Gayle King</a>&nbsp;for&nbsp;<a data-component="link" data-ordinal="2" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" href="https://youtu.be/GUzqD5UcLwo" rel="noopener" target="_blank">SiriusXM</a>&nbsp;radio while promoting her film,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/movies/the-color-purple" target="_blank"><em>The Color Purple</em></a>, with fellow guests&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/danielle-brooks" target="_blank">Danielle Brooks</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;Blitz Bazawule, things became somber when Henson opened up about&nbsp;her frustrations over the industry's lack of fair pay, implying that the longstanding issues are determining factors in whether she gives up acting for good.</p>

<p>"I'm just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do, [and] getting paid a fraction of the cost," she said. "I'm tired of hearing my sisters say the same thing over and over. You get tired. I hear people say 'You work a lot!' I have to. The math ain't mathing. And when you start working a lot, you have a team. Big bills come with what we do. We don't do this alone."</p>

<p>"I'm only human. Every time I do something and break another glass ceiling, when it's time to renegotiate, I'm at the bottom again like I never did what I just did, and I'm tired," Henson lamented. "I'm tired. It wears on you. What does that mean? What is that telling me? If I can't fight for them coming up behind me, then what the f**k am I doing?"</p>

<p>Breaking into frustrated tears, Henson&nbsp;noted that despite her various successes, she still gets told there isn't money on the table during negotiations because Black actors and stories "don't translate overseas," among other excuses. She stated that&nbsp;she's turned to various other projects, including her TPH haircare line, to supplement her acting income and diversify her brand.</p>

<p>"I'm tired hearing of that my entire career," Henson said. "Twenty-plus years in the game, and I hear the same thing, and I see what you do for another production, but when it's time to go to bat for us, they don't have any money. They play in your face. And I'm just supposed to smile and grin and bear it. Enough is enough! That's why I have other [brands] because this industry, if you let it, it will steal your soul. But I refuse to let that happen."</p>

<p>Bazawule, who directed&nbsp;<em>The Color Purple,</em>&nbsp;backed up her claims, sharing that he had to fight for all of his leading actors to be cast in the film despite their various successes. He said, "It was like you were never here," when he brought up their names to the studio.</p>

<p>"The fact that each one of you had to audition for this role... roles that were second nature for you... roles that no one should even question," Bazawule said.</p>

<p>"This woman is OSCAR NOMINATED - imagine the struggle for 99% of the rest. Maybe folks won't relate but that's also the issue - being misunderstood and people just assuming they're 'rich.' So next time yall see an actor working at Trader Joe's, maybe it will hit different," Thede added.</p>

<p>Gabrielle Union&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/itsgabrielleu/status/1737538201764733304" rel="" target="_blank">added her voice to the conversation</a>, writing, "Not a damn lie told. Not. A. <p>Oscar winner <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/viola-davis" rel="" target="_blank">Viola Davis</a> praised Henson for her courage,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1Faq_wxOjf/" rel="" target="_blank">sharing a clip of the interview to her Instagram page</a>. "This!!!! THIS!!! 👆🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿" she captioned the post, which drew the attention of several other famous faces.</p>

<p>Davis herself has&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf0kDGVkVzQ" rel="" target="_blank">spoken out&nbsp;about the unequal opportunities and compensation</a>&nbsp;for Black artists in Hollywood.&nbsp;Davis called out&nbsp;the racial pay gap in&nbsp;a conversation with Tina Brown as part of the&nbsp;<em>Women in the World</em>&nbsp;salon in February 2018.</p>

<p>"We won't talk about gender inequality of pay. Because a lot of the women who've stepped forward -- and I stand in solidarity with them, okay -- what they are getting paid, which is half of what a man is getting paid...well, we get probably a tenth of what a Caucasian woman gets. And I'm number one on the call sheet. And then I go in, and I have to hustle for my worth," she said.</p>

<p>The Juilliard-trained actress pointed out that she is widely acclaimed across numerous mediums with decades of experience on film, television, and the stage.</p>

<p>"I got the Oscar, I got the Emmy, I got the two Tonys, I've done Broadway, I've done off-Broadway, I've done TV, I've done film, I've done all of it," she added. "I have a career that's probably comparable to Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Sigourney Weaver. They all came out of Yale, they came out of Juilliard, they came out of NYU. They had the same path as me, and yet I am nowhere near them, not as far as money, not as far as job opportunities, nowhere close to it."</p>

<p>She continued: "But I have to get on that phone and people say, 'You're a Black Meryl Streep... There is no one like you.' OK,then, if there's no one like me, you think I'm that, you pay me what I'm worth. You give me what I'm worth."</p>

<p>As the royal family grapples with&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/cancer-in-the-royal-family-kate-middleton-king-charles-and-sarah-ferguson-announce-diagnoses-in" rel="" target="_blank">recent shocking health updates</a>, the bonds between them are getting closer than ever. After&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kate-middleton" rel="" target="_blank">Kate Middleton</a>&nbsp;revealed on Friday that&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-diagnosed-with-cancer-speaks-out-for-the-first-time-since-abdominal-surgery-222228" rel="" target="_blank">she had been diagnosed with cancer</a>, royal expert Katie Nicholl shares insight into how the Princess of Wales, 42, and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/king-charles-iii" rel="" target="_blank">King Charles III</a>&nbsp;have gotten closer.</p>

<p>Nicholl tells ET's Nischelle Turner that aside from&nbsp;the 75-year-old monarch's&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/king-charles-iii-visits-with-kate-middleton-in-the-hospital-as-hes-admitted-for-prostate-surgery" rel="" target="_blank">visit to his daughter-in-law at the London Clinic</a>,&nbsp;where she had surgery before his own procedure, palace sources confirm "the king had lunch with Catherine on Wednesday in Windsor after she recorded [her video] message."</p>

<p>"That's quite special, I don't think you get to have many one-to-one audiences with the king," Nicholl adds. "I think that's an indication of how close they are and certainly this shared experience, this shock double cancer diagnosis will only bring them closer."</p>

<p>As ET previously reported, a&nbsp;month after the palace <a href="https://www.etonline.com/king-charles-iii-has-been-diagnosed-with-cancer-219260" rel="" target="_blank">announced that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer</a>, Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis in&nbsp;a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/everything-kate-middleton-shared-about-her-cancer-diagnosis-in-emotional-video-222237" rel="" target="_blank">video statement shared by Buckingham Palace</a>. Although the mother of three did not share what kind of cancer she's battling, she explained that she's currently undergoing "preventative chemotherapy" and is "now in the early stages of that treatment."</p>

<p>Kate said the news of the cancer diagnosis came as a "huge shock" to the royal family. She explained that she and&nbsp;William&nbsp;endeavored to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/why-kate-middleton-waited-to-tell-her-children-about-her-cancer-diagnosis-222240" rel="" target="_blank">manage the situation privately for the sake of their young children</a>&nbsp;-- Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A source told ET that Kate filmed the video on March 20, and she started receiving cancer treatment shortly after her surgery in January.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After Kate's diagnosis was revealed, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson shared that Charles is "so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking as she did." Following their time in the hospital together, Charles has "remained in the closest contact with his beloved daughter-in-law throughout the past weeks, and both&nbsp;royals "will continue to offer their love and support to the whole family through this difficult time."</p>

<p>"The fact that she decided to speak out and talk about this and really take ownership of her health and her journey, I suppose in some ways she was following in the king's footsteps because that is what he did," Nicholl says of Kate's decision to announce her diagnosis.</p>

<p>The royal expert adds that she believes the king has been "deeply touched" by the "outpouring of grief" following both his and Kate's announcements.</p>

<p>The cancer revelation came more than two months after the palace announced on Jan. 17 that Kate had undergone "<a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-and-king-charles-released-from-hospital-everything-we-know-about-their-recoveries" rel="" target="_blank">planned abdominal surgery</a>." While&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/queen-camilla" rel="" target="_blank">Queen Camilla</a>&nbsp;and the palace shared updates on Charles'&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/queen-camilla-offers-update-on-king-charles-iii-in-first-royal-appearance-since-his-cancer" rel="" target="_blank">improving condition</a>, Kate's recovery progress was shrouded in mystery, all of which was compounded by the fact that 70 days had come and gone before Kate&nbsp;would be&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/see-kate-middleton-for-the-first-time-since-hospitalization-for-abdominal-surgery-pic-220894" rel="" target="_blank">seen for the first time</a>, albeit not in her official capacity.</p>

<p>The palace had previously said Kate was "unlikely to return to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-hospitalized-for-abdominal-surgery-likely-wont-return-to-public-duties-until-after" rel="" tabindex="-1" target="_blank">public duties until after Easter</a>," which comes on March 31. But her absence triggered rampant speculation regarding her whereabouts, speculation that, unfortunately for all involved, morphed into vast and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-farm-shop-video-conspiracy-theories-royal-contributor-weighs-in-221943" rel="" target="_blank">outlandish conspiracy theories</a>.</p>

<p>Nicholl acknowledges the public's voracious hunt for information on Kate's absence, telling ET that she believes "lessons have been learned" when it comes to how the palace shares details.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"My understanding is that the king was really behind her doing that video message even though it was a bit of a breach of protocol, just a bit of a departure for the norm, because he recognizes how important that connection with the public is," Nicholl says. "He's also been on the receiving end of that support from the public, and that has [helped] him through a very difficult period."</p>

<p>Nicholl also shares that Kate "wrote every word" of her video announcement, adding that the Princess of Wales "turned that speech right around really quickly, which I think tells you it came from the heart."</p>

<p>"It was her idea and it was also quite unprecedented," the royal expert continues. "Usually when we get these sort of updates or statements they tend to be in a written statement that comes from the palace, but apparently the princess just felt that would not sit well with the public -- possibly off the back of those online conspiracy theories."&nbsp;</p>

<p>She adds, "I do understand and can exclusively reveal on ET that she did speak to her father-in-law before the message, and of course with her husband, because she knew what she was doing was actually a little bit different from the norm and they both gave their full backing and recognized this was the best way to do it."</p>

<p>As Charles and Kate recuperate, the royal family is taking time to enjoy each other's company.&nbsp;</p>

<p>ET has learned that Kate and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/prince-william" rel="" target="_blank">Prince William</a>, 41, were <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-and-prince-william-spending-easter-with-their-kids-at-sandringham-estate-amid-cancer" rel="" target="_blank">seen departing Adelaide Cottage in Windsor</a> by helicopter on Saturday with their children to head toward Anmer Hall, located on the Sandringham Estate. The family will be spending the kids' Easter school break at their country home, which also gives them an opportunity to see the monarch.</p>

<p>The Prince and Princess of Wales will not be attending Easter services with the rest of the family.&nbsp;This year's festivities will be a major departure from the family's typical lineup of events, which includes&nbsp;Easter service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor. The source adds that it's possible the group could attend church in Sandringham together to mark the holiday.</p>

<p>After their vacation in the sun, the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/travis-kelce-talks-unique-visit-to-singapore-praises-taylor-swifts-performance-221564" rel="" target="_blank">high-profile power couple</a>&nbsp;was <a href="https://www.etonline.com/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-step-out-in-malibu-together-following-their-trip-to-the-bahamas" rel="" target="_blank">spotted in Malibu on Sunday</a>. The duo sat down&nbsp;for some food together at Nobu Malibu, where they grabbed the attention of several patrons at the West Coast hot spot.</p>

<p>Brandon Chreene, a diner at Nobu Malibu, told ET, "Taylor walked into Nobu Malibu at around 4 p.m. She looked more phenomenal up close than you'd ever imagine. She had a lot of security with her when she walked in through the front and was in full glam, and looked completely date ready."</p>

<p>Chreene added, "She was escorted to the back part of the restaurant and smiled at everyone. The energy was everything. It was like the entire room stopped and all eyes were on her."</p>

<p>"Travis came out from the back part of the restaurant later... and was all smiles on the walk through the restaurant," Chreene recounted. "He stopped to say hi to a few folks at their tables."</p>

<p>According to the eyewitness, "It was just the two of them there and they sat in a very private part of the restaurant, which was closed off from everyone else. It seemed very VIP."</p>

<p>Kelce has seemingly been on the go nonstop since winning his third <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/super-bowl" rel="" target="_blank">Super Bowl</a> with the Kansas City Chiefs in February.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The NFL player's&nbsp;stop in Malibu comes shortly after&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/travis-kelce-spotted-in-cleveland-after-vacationing-in-the-bahamas-with-taylor-swift-222278" rel="" target="_blank">he was spotted in Cleveland, Ohio</a>, earlier this weekend. Kelce dropped into Geraci's Slice Shop in downtown Cleveland for some pizza. Kelce -- who grew up in Cleveland Heights -- was photographed inside the location keeping a low profile in black sunglasses and a baseball cap.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Before that, he <a href="https://www.etonline.com/travis-kelce-talks-attention-in-australia-due-to-biggest-and-best-thing-possible-taylor-swift" rel="" target="_blank">jetted to both Australia</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-enjoy-date-night-with-her-bandmates-in-singapore-221285" rel="" target="_blank">Singapore</a> to support Swift on her Eras Tour stops -- with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/travis-kelce-dances-to-taylor-swifts-love-story-while-partying-in-las-vegas-after-australia-visit" rel="" target="_blank">a pit stop in Las Vegas, Nevada</a>, with his teammates in between.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Traveling Trav is my f**king nickname," the athlete chuckled during <a href="https://www.etonline.com/travis-kelce-reveals-the-hit-reality-show-he-loves-its-worse-than-catching-kelce-222024" rel="" target="_blank">his <em>New Heights</em> podcast</a> episode on Wednesday.&nbsp;"Not because I move around a lot but because I can't f**king dribble a basketball."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier this month,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/taylor-swift-is-so-in-love-with-travis-kelce-hes-not-afraid-to-love-her-publicly-source-says-221313" rel="" target="_blank">a source told ET</a>&nbsp;that the singer is&nbsp;"happier than ever and so in love" with Swift.</p>

<p>"She likes that Travis is so proud of her and that he isn't afraid to show his love for her publicly," the source said.</p>

<p>"She is in a great place and having the best time performing, making music, and feeling free to live her life more openly," the source added. "Travis is enjoying being on tour with Taylor and is happy to support her."</p>

<p>As for what's in store for the couple, the source said that "Taylor views Travis as a true partner and someone she can have a real future with."</p>

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Pack on the PDA While Vacationing in the Bahamas

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/nicholas-galitzine" rel="" target="_blank">Nicholas Galitzine</a>&nbsp;is making a career of starring in royal titles, and he's not mad about it!&nbsp;Galitzine and his&nbsp;<em>Mary &amp; George</em>&nbsp;co-star, Julianne Moore, chatted with ET's Denny Directo about their upcoming&nbsp;Starz series, during which the 29-year-old reacted to the growing trend on his resume.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Having starred as&nbsp;Prince Robert in 2021's&nbsp;<em>Cinderella</em>,&nbsp;Prince Henry in&nbsp;<em><a href="https://www.etonline.com/movies/red-white-and-royal-blue" rel="" target="_blank">Red, White &amp; Royal Blue</a></em>, and now portraying George Villiers, the secret lover of the former King of Scotland&nbsp;James VI and I in&nbsp;<em>Mary &amp; George</em>, it's clear that Hollywood sees the royal potential in&nbsp;Galitzine.</p>

<p>"It's not even me flocking to it; the industry knows me as <em>that</em> guy,"&nbsp;Galitzine tells ET of his continued casting in&nbsp;aristocratic roles. "It gets put on my desk!"</p>

<p>To&nbsp;Galitzine's credit, each of his characters has been vastly different from one another, which the actor says has been the most fun in portraying them. And&nbsp;George Villiers is possibly the most distinct of them all.</p>

<p>"The three characters, despite having that [in common], feel very distinctly different, so it's completely unlike anyone I have played before," he said of taking on the&nbsp;1st Duke of Buckingham.&nbsp;"So it's sort of a no-brainer wanting to play him."</p>

<p><em>Mary &amp; George </em>is based on Benjamin Woolley's 2017 non-fiction book, <em>The King's Assassin</em>, and inspired by the true story of&nbsp;Mary Villiers and her son, George. The&nbsp;seven-part series depicts Mary's (Moore) molding of her beautiful and charismatic son, George (Galitzine), to seduce King James VI of Scotland and I of England and become his all-powerful lover.</p>

<p>"Through scheming, the pair rose from humble beginnings to become the richest, most titled and influential players the English court had ever seen, and the King's most trusted advisors. All this at a time when England's place on the world stage was under threat from a Spanish invasion and rioters were taking to the streets to denounce the King," reads the show's official description.</p>

<p>Moore, 63, has nothing but good things to share about her experience taking on the role of the ambitiously ruthless Countess of Buckingham. "It was so much fun, it was so wonderfully written and so vivid and so human and so entertaining," she gushes to ET. "She's a character who has almost no subtext, it's all text, you know? She's very, very active, she says what she's thinking, she acts on what she's thinking, and she even voices her frustration."</p>

<p>"There was something freeing about finding someone who doesn't really care what anybody else thinks," Moore adds. "She's there to survive, you know, so she'll kind of do anything. She'll do anything she needs to do for her survival and her children's survival."</p>

<p>The show's description describes Mary as "always the smartest person in the room," noting that the mother of two&nbsp;"was never able to realize her full potential until she spots an opportunity to take advantage of the King's voracious appetite for fine wine, fine company and fine men."</p>

<p>Galitzine's George is described as "naïvely beautiful and charismatic" and a pawn as he's "thrust into the spotlight as his mother masterminds their pursuit of the King."</p>

<p>Much of George's part of the plan is seducing the King to follow his every whim, which involves a healthy amount of romantic scenes between&nbsp;Galitzine and&nbsp;Tony Curran.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I think it takes a lot of preparation in terms of understanding what the scenes follow and how they tell the story,"&nbsp;Galitzine said of recreating those intimate moments for the small screen. "For George, it's his currency, it's the way he operates in the world. I'm so proud of the work that we did because everything feels incredibly purposeful and incredibly powerful. I think it helped me discover George's power in a way, which was really exciting."</p>

<p>Meanwhile, fans are excited for a much different role of&nbsp;Galitzine's -- his portrayal of&nbsp;Hayes Campbell in Prime Video's&nbsp;<em><a href="https://www.etonline.com/the-idea-of-you-trailer-watch-anne-hathaway-and-nicholas-galitzine-fall-in-love-221021" rel="" target="_blank">The Idea of You</a>.</em></p>

<p>In the movie, based on Robinne Lee's popular novel of the same name, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/anne-hathaway" rel="" target="_blank">Anne Hathaway</a> plays Solène, a 40-year-old divorced mother who is forced to chaperone her teen daughter's trip to the&nbsp;Coachella Music Festival.&nbsp;After a chance encounter with&nbsp;Hayes, the 24-year-old lead singer of the most popular boy band in the world,&nbsp;Solène gets wrapped up in a whirlwind romance.</p>

<p>"I'm so excited for <em>The Idea of You</em>, you know, again it's portraying something that we're not really used to seeing on screen which is an age-gap love between a young man and an older women,"&nbsp;Galitzine tells ET about the upcoming release. "I'm really thrilled that it's coming out and Anne is such an incredible actress... Very excited for people to watch it!"</p>

<p><em>The Idea of You</em>&nbsp;premieres May 2 on Prime Video.&nbsp;<em>Mary &amp; George</em>&nbsp;premieres April 5 on Starz.</p>
